Bay Area Immigration Bond Fund
Thousands of immigrants are incarcerated every year in detention centers because they cannot afford bail – removing them from their families and communities, endangering their homes, jobs, public benefits, and healthcare, and increasing their chance of deportation.
By paying bond for immigrants who cannot afford it, they are empowered to fight their deportation, stay out of detention, and return to their homes, jobs, families, and communities while they await their trial.
